These circles are found in all kinds of people male, female, young and old people. The main reason why people hate dark circle is that it makes their beautiful face look ugly and undesirable.

The following are the most common causes of those unattractive dark circles;

Heredity
The dark circles under a person's eyes may in fact just be due to his/her own heredity. . In fact Hereditary and genetics play a big role in the development of dark eye circles because the skin under the eye is very thin, when blood flows through veins closed to surface of the skin it can produce a bluish tint. If your skin is transparent then the darker the circles will appear. Transparent skin is inherited trait. So, heredity is one of the major causes of dark circles.

Exposure to sun
Exposure to sun is also one of the major causes of dark circles. The skin that is under the eyes is delicate skin and is often subject to a higher risk of hyper pigmentation and therefore becomes darker than the rest of the skin because of the melanin which is produced in this sensitive and delicate area due to exposure to the sun. So, the delicate skin under the eyes must be protected from sun's rays. And the most common and reasonable tip is to wear sunglasses whenever you are in direct contact with the sun's rays.

Wrinkles
The skin around our eyes is most thin and sensitive around our bodies and when we grow old, it becomes naturally thinner and dry after that dark circles will appears under our eyes. In addition, wrinkles and crows feet under the eyes will make dark circles more noticeable. Continued thinning and sensitizing works to make the delicate veins and features beneath the eyes more visible, and the natural wrinkles, creasing, and drying of more mature skin equates to more prominent and pronounced dark circles under the eyes.

Allergies and rubbing of eyes
There are different types of allergies which contribute to the appearance of dark circles.
People mostly suffering from sinus and other nasal problems are most likely to have dark circles. Sinus and cold increases pressure on the blood vessels and dark circles becomes visible. Frequently rubbing of eyes darkens the skin around eyes; contaminates your eyes; damages blood vessels and darkens tissue.

Lack of nutrition
Lack of proper nutrition and improper diet are also major cause dark circles. Similarly, lack of water and iron also cause dark circles. So, in order to get rid of it you should consume balanced diet and drink enough water and consume food containing iron.

Menstruation and Pregnancy.
During Menstruation and Pregnancy skin becomes pale. The veins that are around the eyes become more apparent and turn dark due to veins and dark circles appear.
